My administrative assistant is on vacation

The administrative assistant for our office is on vacation this week and next week. She went on a 10 day cruise with her mother and her sister up the Eastern Seaboard of the US to Canada. They were going to visit Boston and Maine and several really interesting sights.
While I'm a bit jealous of the cruise, I have also come to realize just how much she does around the office. I knew how valuable she was, but I'm about ready to pull her phone and mine out of the wall and put them into the trash can. I've been trying to answer both lines, and it's driving me totally insane~!
So here's my question. Do you have someone at your job that does such a great job that you miss them terribly while they're gone?

I work alone most of the time at my job so no. The cruise sound great. I've always wanted to visit Maine. Let your assistant know how much she was truly missed and what a great job she does. It will make her returning alittle easier for her.

I talked to her this morning. They had come into port, and she realized that she had cell phone service and couldn't resist the urge to call home and make sure that we were doing ok. She mothers us all! It's wonderful and I miss her tremendously when she isn't in the office.
