GM posh employees walk off dream job

ABsolutely unbelieveable what is happening today with GM.1000's of people would give a limb to work at a job that they all went running from today because oh my they can't possibly take a pay cut. Well let me tell you something. If they aren't happy in their posh little jobs making 25 bucks an hour they will never be happy. They need fired when they go to work tomorrow..And the fact that the wonderful union advises this and thinks it is ok is beyond me and is terrorism. Did the babies who went on strike happen to the think of the 100's of thousands of people making 9 or 10 bucks and hour that they are hurting right now? Do they think of what this strike will do to the working poor if they strike for any amount of time? Do they think maybe they should drop to their knees and kiss the ground they work in? JOB SECURITY??? No ones jobs are secure when you have idiots like them! I think GM should look at them all adn say sorry you won't be coming back here. In the total downfall of the auto industy in the total lacking in our position in the auto industry..the stock market the state of Michigan where I am from and the fact that our state is 10 minutes away at any given time from total collapse..and the auto industry dying in this country. What a great time to strike. And then they all sit around and scratch their heads wondering why the foreigners are so far ahead of us in the auto war..GEEEEE let me think? You have the blue collar employees at GM making more than any other blue collar people in the nation walking away from their air conditioned factories to run around with signs and whine and complain they can't take a pay cut???!!! UMMMM hellllooooooo???? What about the couples that both work at GM who are "sacraficing" by going on strike making 55-60 bucks an hour now and stomping their feet because they won't survive if they get a pay cut?? They make me sick. They have no idea what it is like to struggle and to work and be poor and have 5 children and not be able to afford groceries on one income from week to week..But the GM couple who can't bare to take a pay cut won't be able to pay their 300,000 mortgage and thier 3 car payments and their boat payment and their 15 charge cards and dining out every night of the week and the total excess they live in...I feel so bad for you..you better go on strike...IF I GET THE CHANCE I WILL STEAL YOUR JOB AND BE THE HAPPIEST PERSON IN THE FRICKIN WORLD,for what you are walking away from..

I just do not understand(thanks for your response friendship) I just do not understand what they heck they are thinking?? I cannot phathom why they are doing this. My husband works for a company called Johnson Controls here in the USA I am not real sure if they have any in Canada in the last 3 months he has lost 2 dollars per hour and a 88 cent shift premium which brings him down to 15 dollars and hour. I am an at home mom we have 5 children WE BARELY SURVIVE. That is not one bit of an exaggeration either. I cannot afford daycare I cannot afford the gas to work at this point. I just think things are so bad in this country life as we know it surely will be coming to an end..4.75 for a gallon of milk 3.25 for a gallon of gas,meat prices are through the roof,food prices,clothing,toiletries..just everything..it is so hard to survive and we cut sooo many corners I can vegetables we don't have any credit cards and never have we don't go anywhere we don't spend money we don't go out to eat,we own everything we have..we barely survive with the bare necessities of life..rent,insurance,food,school clothes you know just life..Johnson Controls has cut everyones hours laid off 1000's of people yet have a posted profit of 19 billllionnnn dollars..It is sick..these employees at GM have no idea what it is like to live like we live and what we and 1000's of other people would like us and what we wouldnt give for that job. I'm not saying many of them have probably not have had hard times in their life. I am just saying they should be soooo thankful for what they have..they should walk into work everyday and say damn I'm lucky but instead they walk off the best jobs in this country for the blue collar workers and the highest paid. It just floors me!
