a traditional chinese festival

this is the first time that i have ever heard about it. i wonder what it is for and why are they celebrating this. there must be a valid reason for the festivities. china is such a big country with such huge population it is no wonder that i cannot keep track of everything about the country despite the high interest i have in their culture and traditions. yes, i am those group of people who holds a high regard for the chinese. there is so much that we can learn from them. it appears that they have been into so many studies long before most of mankind hadn't been too serious about it.
