What are your fall favorites?

What are the things that you love about fall? Is it the changing leaves, the crisp air, the cool weather, the yummy food?
For me I love the colors in everything from the leaves to the evening sky to fashion runways. Fall food is my favorite of all and when I really get into the spirit to cook and bake for everyone.

I love the low humidity during fall! I love the cool weather and the warm sunshine. I just love fall so much in general. The clothes are nicer, the cosmetics' colors are great and everything seems so lovely. I am usually in a very good mood when fall arrives.

You are so right about the humidity, here in the southern states of the US humidity is very high and no matter what you do your hair looks like you've licked an electrical socket. The last two weeks or so I've had good hair days and I couldn't figure out why, lol, I totally forgot about that fall good hair effect.
Fall clothes are the best, not too heavy but no skimpy either and the colors flatter almost everyone.

I love all of those things... plus we have 5 birthdays within 2 weeks of each other, so there is lots of celebrating! But mostly, I like clearing my porches of all the flower pots and putting it all away in the greenhouse for safekeeping over the cold weeks to come. Its like tucking little ones into bed!

Both of my parents can grow anything... on a rock, with no fertilizer. I just do herbs, salad fixings, and perennials on my porch because I love having those things fresh, but thats as much as I can handle. They are BIG pots, 2-gallon size or more, so I can even grow roses and small trees there!

Wow those are big! I bet it must be so nice to have those fresh herbs and things at hand. I've tried and tried but no luck and I love plants and flowers so much. I tried to grow tomato one year, my neighboor's were huge and tasty while mine looked like bean sprouts and never grew a single one, lol. Oddly enough though I bought a "Money Tree" 3 weeks ago and it's growing! It looks great (knock on wood, lol) so maybe there's hope?

Well right at the moment, we're actually having a bit of a heat wave again....drat..it was just starting to feel like fall, and now we having summer again! LOL
Since I'm not a summer person to begin with, I always look forward to fall season...Like you I love the colors of the fall leaves, the cooler air, and yes the foods one usually associates with the coming of this glorious season...love it!! :)

Ah, that last heat wave of the season... those are the worst. It's been not bad here, 79 right now. I like it to stay about about 70 which it should until middle or end of November.

I like the weather and the feel and smell in the air. I love the leaves changing. Picking pumpkins is a favorite too, and cooking the seeds..Yummy...I love Fall...

I've never picked a pumpkin or carved one either, we used to buy ours carved already because "little girls are supposed to get messy". I thought about (OMG a bug just flew into my eye... gross) doing it this year but the bada$$ kids next door would just break it or something.

Same for me and here in Alabama, our trees don't change much either. A few will but for the most part we stay green too.
