Which kind of story do you prefer,cothurnus or comdey?

I like cothurnus but I am afraid to read such stories because I will be sad for a long time if I read a story with sorrowful ending.So I read comdey usually though I prefer cothurnus.As I know the stories we remember for a long time are always sad stories.What about you?
