cordless phone causing troubles ?

earlier i was using a netgear wgr14 router at home and a 2.8Ghz panasonic cordless phone installed at my place ..now both the appliances use the same frequency spectrum and hence there was a lot of interference problem...If anybody else also has suffered from a similar problem can switch over to the latest 5.8 Ghz cordless technology.. Its Great convenience and reliability.. Working hard for mylot

Hi there, if your wireless router and your cordless phone has the same frequency then you will have troubles in connecting to your wireless network. There will be times that your wireless devices will cut off if the phone rings or if you are using the phone near you. Well, you can try to switch cordless phones since no matter you change the channels on the phone or router, they will still interfere. Or put the phone far far far far far away from the router.
