Do you love it when it rains?

It's raining here today! I love it when rains. Not the kind that's so hard though. A bit of drizzle, a bit of shower. To me, this has always been a very romantic scene. It's kinda gloomy but romantic nonetheless. I love it coz it's not too hot if it rains. I love it coz there's not much of the sun. I hate it, though, when it's so hard that streets in this part of the world get flooded. I really hate it when this happens.

hahah! really taking picture ha? that's a cool imagination. But still i am not comfortable with lightnings. Everytime I hear one, I will really cover both my ears with pillows so as not to hear or feel it. Like a kiddo running for mom's refuge. hehe!

Every time lightning strikes, i count until i hear the thunder and assume that the count is the distance in kilometers between where i am and where the lightning struck. Did you ever believe in that? And I always think that God wants me to smile every time lightning strikes 'cause He is taking my picture. :)

True, very true Jen. Especially when you live somewhere near the equator like the Philippines where it gets very humid most of the time. The rain is such a blessing! Sleep is good when it pours down hard! :)

Hi, and welcome to myLot. I do love it when it rains. Like you, I prefer a softer rain; I enjoy walking in that kind of rain. I also like storms, too. (As long as I am inside!) We have a tin roof on our house and I enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof.

I really dont love the rain but have nothing against it hehe. I feel gloomy when it rains and i don't like going out because of dirt and mud on the streets. But its nice when you have someone by your side while watching at home sipping some hot coffee and cuddling.

That is one of the best gifts of a rain. Cuddling with the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with! The sad thing is, i don't have that someone, well, not just yet. I'd have to be content with sitting by my window watching a couple enjoying the rain...

lol I guess where I live got some of that rain you got! Its still raining right now, and it got cool enough for me to open the windows and listen to it. I love it!
I also like the sound of the rain because its really easy to sleep to and its romantic like you said. I have some great memories of me and my hubby when we first met and a few of our camping expeditions..hehe

Yup. It sure is refreshing! I like that, it brings a sense of new life. It gives us time to rethink things, especially when we are at home sitting by a window, watching the kids play under the rain. I miss that. Everything then was simple, plain and simple. This is just the rain talking. :)

There is nothing like the sound of a light rain hitting your window at night time. It is one of the most soothing sounds for me. Between the wind and the rain it is very relaxing and I would fall asleep in the matter of minutes. I do not like the heavy sounds of thunder though. Maybe the sound of light thunder, but crashing "Booms" dont appeal to me. I even sit at the window sometimes during a rainstorm and just watch the drops roll down my window.

I couldn't agree more! Sitting by the window, perfect scene view especially when outside, there are children playing under the rain. I miss that. I haven't done that in a very long time, play under the rain that is. I think I'll make myself a cup of coffee and sit by my window...

I love it too when it rains. I love the sounds it makes ..it's a music to my ear that it makes me wanna go to sleep.hehe! --- that is if I am at home.
But if I am caught up with it outdoor with no umbrella or shade..that would surely spoil my day.

It's not gonna be a pleasant day when you're caught by the rain without any umbrella and no shade. But if you are on your way home, enjoy it! I haven't done that in a long time. Play under the rain. And feel the cold thin drops of the rain touch my lips and sun tanned face, as if whispering be free and live!

I love rain too. It's very soothing to watch it & listen to it. I often write poetry about rain.
