Do you have an idea as to why your parents name you as such?
Is there a name that you wish your parents should give you instead? If there is, what is it?
As for me, I have a two-word first name (very common in the Philippines) which is Marie Grace. My parents said Marie is actually derived from Mary but they decided to have it Marie because Mary Grace is very common in the Philippines. Lastly, Grace because according to my parents they prayed and waited for me for 7 years before God gave me to them. So, they considered me as a grace sent by heaven, plus it was a bonus since I am a girl...My parents want a girl so badly that time because their eldest is already a boy.
Well, I love my name but I would also consider the name Gweneth Samantha as my first name.

Your name is beautiful and has a very lovely meaning behind it. To me, it says how special you are to them. I got my name from my mother who was also named after her aunt. It is an honor for me to carry the name of such a wonderful human being, as my mother was.

Hi Rozie! I appreciate much your comment about my name! Well, as what I see we are both lucky with our names because it has a very significant meaning to our families. Just like you, ill be very honored to carry a name from the two very important and wonderful people (in your case Mom & Aunt)in my life.

Susan means lily in Hebrew. They considered me a cute little flower of a baby. Mary because the middle name in my culture is usually one from the Bible and they used Mary, the Mother of Jesus. So I am Susan Mary. They also wanted to use regular, common names so I wouldn't get picked on.
I'd like an uncommon name like Gabriel.
