Do you have an idea as to why your parents name you as such?
Is there a name that you wish your parents should gave you instead? If there is, what is it?
As for me, I have a two-word first name (very common in the Philippines) which is Marie Grace. According to my parents, Marie is actually derived from the word Mary but they decided to have it Marie because the name Mary Grace is very common in the Philippines. On the other hand, it's Grace because my parents literally prayed to God asking for a baby and waited for me for 7 years. That's why they considered me as a "grace" sent by heaven to them, plus it was a bonus since I am a girl. My parents wanted a girl so badly that time because their eldest is already a boy.
Honestly speaking, I do love my name but I would love also to consider Gweneth Samantha as my first name.

Hi.
My name is "Rajkumar" which is a Hindi word and means prince. My elder brother said to my parents that his younger brother will rule the house and the family, he will be the most lovable for each and everyone on the day I came in his life and my parent allowed him to name me as he wishes. Now I am a teenager and seeing the changing environment he now calls me Raj, which is considered to be really sexy here.

I can see how your family and your brother value and welcome your presence in their lives. You are truly blessed to have them in your life! Your name has really a very beautiful meaning and it is good also because they can change the way they call you so as to make it fitting to your age and lifestyle now being a teenager.

your parents way of naming you guys are unique, its like there is a pattern. My cousin's sons were also named having B as the first word of their two-word first names. I also know of a couple who's kids names starts with A (eldest), B (middle) and C (youngest).

My first name was after a friend of their, my middle name was after my grandmother, and my last name was my Dad's name. I was never comfortable with the tradition of the father's last name, and then the woman taking the husband's name, so I changed my name to my mother's birth name (a Danish name and my father is Canadian) used my fathe's name as a second middle name, and kept my names as they were, after I got married.

My parents named me a very common, boring name. I don't like it because it's cutesy & little-kiddy. I prefer "Gwen" because it's not that feminine. It's kind of "tough" and non-gendered. And less common.

Oh, I got it. I have a friend to, she is not a lesbian, but she just love to be called Alex from her real name Alexa because according to her it sounds more cool and not feminine. In most cases, someone who can hear us talking about her will thought that she is a he. hehhehe...
