what i mean of dreams is the thing you experience when you sleep not dreams you are aspiring that will happen someday.so do you believe on the things in your dream? are they really connected with your life. i want to ask this question because i usually dream of places and events that i may have encountered in my younger years but they are not much clear to me or things that happen recently then you think that you have also encountered this in your dream, did you ever experience this too? do dreams really have meaning at all?

I totally believe that dreams have a lot of meaning. I don't think that they necessarily come true but many dreams tell you things that are on your mind, that you don't want to face, and all sorts of things. I have read many books on dreams and there are certain things people dream of that have real meaning. Remember, drams are coming from our minds and brains and there is a reason why we dream what we do. Of course, we may never know what the reason is but, if you really think about the dream and the situation, you can usually come up with an idea of what was on your mind when you dreamed what you did. My son is really into dreams and has several books about dreams. I read some and they are spot on as far as what may be going on in our subconscious when we dream. While I don't think that a dream will necessarily come true, I do think there are messages or meanings to our dreams that elude us because we don't understand what they mean. Something causes us to dream what we do. It must be coming from our subconscious minds.

yes i agree with you friend. its really our passion, fear and eotions have a great factor to what we dream. i also dont know but i may believe that somedreams may have meaning while some dont and its only made by our desires. what i think dreams are the outlet of things we could not fulfill in the real life and the chance of fulfilling it is experience in dreams. we also dream of people we care about or we fear about, thats why its obvious that emotion has something to do with our subconsious that affect our dreams.thanks for sharing.

Josh,I believe what you are describing is known as "Deja Vu". Many people experience this at sometime or another in their lives. It's like you've done something or seen something in a dream as if you've been there before. It's kind of funny because I personally experienced a similar situation the other day. As I sat at the computer responding to a post I felt as if I was doing it for the second time. It was a strange feeling since I've only had the computer a few months.

Not always. I did dream that I went to the future but that is not going to happen. I also dream I had superpowers but I really doubt that will happen too. The dreams I have that don't violate the laws of physics didn't come true either like getting large amounts of money in a short amount of time.

wow what dreams you have. yes i think dreams are more close to fantasy than reality and it is a respond for things that seems to be impossible to achieve in real life. that's why the power of dream is the only way you can experience these impossible things. its good to dream once in a while isnt it? but i prefer good dreams rather than bad dreams friend.

I don't think that dreams will come true because I have never had such an experience though it might be related to our life. Dreams may have some meanings, but dreams are dreams. They are still far from our real life.

Hello joshboz. I'm not sure if all our dreams can come true. But I had a dream when I was still in grade school. I can never forget this event because until now, it still remains a mystery to me. I had this classmate and we were seated beside each other. He was a royal jerk, kept annoying me and was always grumpy with me. Then one night, I dreamed that he approached me and admitted to me that he loves me. And you bet, I woke up almost wanting to scream from pure terror!lol The next morning at school, that dream of mine happened. Edwin, my classmate, did approach me and gave me a card. Inside the card he wrote, that he was sorry he was a jerk but the truth was,he likes me so much that he just have to hide behind his mask of Mr. Grumpy so I wouldn't notice. Now that was weird. And to what you've asked if dreams are related to our lives, for some dreams, Yes, I think they are. It happened to me a year ago in a "series of dreams". I say series because almost every night, I dream of the same man. Now this guy was an old friend of whom I never even had any feelings for. But in those dreams, we were both married, but still we could feel that we were starting to have feelings for each other. Which was not good, considering that we're already both married. I've always wondered about these dreams and I even asked my sister about it. Because I knew that there must be a reason why I was having those dreams. And as it turned out, those dreams did have a reason. But it wasn't the same way when it happened in the real world. Because it turned out that the old friend I was always dreaming of, was my ex-boyfriend. I just found out that after so many years of not seeing or hearing from each other, he still is very interested about me. We're both married now and have kids. I guess, then, some dreams do convey a message for us.

I don't have any feelings left for him, josh. Whatever love I felt for him years ago is totally gone. I love my husband and son very, very much to want to have anything to do with my ex-boyfriend. But he did try to contact me through another website. But I declined considering that his wife was starting to get a little too bit friendly towards me. Which was weird and too good to be true. If you have the time, you can check my discussions, I posted one that discussed what if you've found out that your ex still couldn't get over you. You will understand the whole situation why I don't want to have anything to do with my ex. About your girlfriend's dreams, do you know that sometimes those dreams are the exact total opposite when it comes to reality? Maybe in her dreams you weren't supposed to get married, but in reality, you will be together.^_^ Dreams are really too complex to understand but they are very interesting.

I do I always have a dream and I dont remember it intill one day ill be in the middle of something and I be like I dreamed of this before. But, my weird dreams that are not realty like I think they have a lot of meaning in them like either what your subconsises is like or what you need to accompish or some other meaning for life. I believe that some of them can protain to what your going to do in life.

yes friend i get your point and i agree with oyu. because i think drams are the product of your emotin most. especially on situations where you are in right now. its a fulfillment of what we desire most and it could only be experience throguh dreaming it because as we know its very impossible to ttain it in real life.some dreams too are good reflection of whats in our mind and just like ive said emotion is a big factor and it includes love, desire,fear,etc...thanks for responding.

I have the same doubt about dream, and i have encounterthed similar scene and things dreamed in reality life.Strangely,it always dreamed before happened, but it can't be explained by any way.In my opinion, perhaps it relate with the experience that we care more, then we remain think of it when we are sleeping. But the detailed are not much clear to me too.

It is taught in us in one of our Psychology subjects that our frustartions, hidden desires, experiences, and other things that leaved impressions to us sometimes comes out it our dreams. it is the product of our subconcious mind. So I believe that it really ahs something to do with our lives.

yes i believe in dreams my friend but only those good dreams which i allow to become true. those bad dreams, i dont make them a reality because as you know they are bad. most of our dreams are product of our imagination that's why not all dreams are true. thanks for responding.
