What do you do on your day off from work or school?

I do what I do best. Spend time on my pc making money on internet sites. When I think about it it's almost like not having a day off because I'm still working and it does seem like work to me sometimes. Between mylot, cha cha and other sites I could spend 8 hours straight with no break "working". It's like not having a day off at all because I do it on the weekend also. The best part of it is I can do it in my pajamas with my hair a mess, coffee cup in front of me and a cigarette in the ash tray!
I also use the time in between sites to catch up on my housework...my favorite job...lol...
How do you usually spend your day off? Do you take advantage of the time and go out or do you spend it doing housework? Do you take the time to relax?

I do what I do pretty much I do every day of the week when im not at work. I play video games for a few hours because halo 3 is so damn addicting lol. I sleep for a long time. I also go on forums and post a lot thats when im not usally playing video games lol. Im usally pretty warn out on my days off so I dont feel like going out most of the time.

It sounds like you are addicted to video games and need to get out more often. The games are great once in awhile but not so much that they wear you out! lol...

I usually go shopping on my days off, or run errands or do something fun, whatever mood i'm in. I like to be out and about. Hanging out with friends or with my boyfriend.

I would love to be able to go shopping on my days off. Sometimes I do go window shopping and it's just as much fun for me.

I exercise after I walk my son to the bus stop, then when I get home roughly one hour and 45 minutes later, I shower, have breakfast and then either do some housework, run errands, catch up on a few talk shows and even watch dvds. Today I spent an hour at my sons school as they put on a morning tea for "new parents" to the school. I got to meet a few parents of those in my sons class. It was fun. Now I am catching up on some reruns of Greys Anatomy before the new one starts this week.

Well, As for me, relaxation matters alot though I might want to use the advantage, but a doctor best prescription is Relaxation.
So I go out, chill with some bottles of bear and read some inspirational Novels, That is what I call Day off. One need to realise that Day off matters, just like a machine get worn off someday, thats how human body is, when it is work work work and work.

I pretty much work! I have my own business outside of my day job.. so I am usually sewing or running errands that involve my business. I make and sell handbags and it is a rather time consuming side project. I love it though so i cannot complain.

If I don’t have classes at school, I stay in my room most of the time and sit in front of my PC just like what you want. During schooldays I just can’t do whatever I want because important assignments comes first so I have to set aside those things that I want to do like playing games, update my blog, discuss here in mylot, watch movies – you know those kind of things. If I’m not in front of my computer, I read books or listen to music.

well,i have 2kids where i spend my day off with.it's either we go to a movie, eat on a restaurant, grocery, play in an arcade or whatever that comes to my mind.they are my 'rest' day although i feel more exhausted,am happier

Sleep up to 11 am, go to the mall, go window shopping or watch movie, or stay at home and watch tv and surf the net.

well my only days off are saturdays and sundays...i work outside of the house p/t from 9-1 every day and when i get home i generally work on mylot/writing/job hunting for hubby then do a bit of house work.
on the weekends we go to church and do more housecleaning...yipee!

In warm weather, I go for walks, try to gather wild food or harvest garden food. In cold weather, I try to stay warm and keep my arthritis from getting to me. I also do some house work and work on mylot or Helium. Take care

Hi again!lol.Well not to brag:)But every day is day off for me.Really its mon,wed,fri,that my daughter goes to the garderie and plays with her friends there and i have the whole afternoon to myself!Yippee!!Today im making halloween crafts.I started one this morning to hang on our door.Its a cone stuffed with a witch,black cat,sunflowers and some leaves.I hope to finish it this afternoon before 4:oopm.Hopefully.lol.The days off i usually do crafts,it helps me relax and i just love doing it.I swore i would stay off the computer,we will see how that goes!LOL.:):)

I've been promising myself I would get back into crafts but haven't yet! I'm definitely going to start on some for Christmas. It's such a good way to relax.

Ctrymuziklvr, on my day-off from work, I play with my kids, I bring my family to the mall or park, I take care of our garden, I repair things that need repair, I take our dogs to bath, and go to surf the internet.
I also never forget to visit the church on Sundays with my family.

Well, I do what's fun for me,ussualy I go cycling, watching television, visiting my friends home.
Yes of course I take time to relax.
Regularly I will go to the mall with my mom,buying something and take a break from my daily activity.

When I was working and I had a day off I would spend it visiting someone or going shopping. I use to spend alot of time on the internet but lately Im just not interested. I really hope I start to feel interested again in mylot but I dont care if I post a discussion or not. Ive been doing alot of things around the house. That Ive been neglecting.

I don't really get any time off. But if I have spare time, my most favoured occupations are sitting down with a good novel, or doing work on the internet.
If it is a beautiful sunny day I love gardening, or even lying outside in the sun reading.

On my day off I will spend some time on my computer and also of course do some house cleaning, some laundry. Someday I will take that day to go see my mom or my boyfriend parent.
But what I prefer is really to relax and do nothing else hen being on my pc or wwatching some movies

I only have one day off each week... so I usually sleep in & relax for awhile, read the newspaper, get housework done, spend time w/ the family... and get online for awhile.

Hello ctrymuziklvr, I am usually stay at home during the weekends when I don't have any work. I would wake up late in the morning afterwhich I just relax and have my lunch. I then watch television or a movie on dvd with the family or I would be in front of the computer online here in mylot and some other websites.
There are times that we would go out to malls and do some shopping. We would eat out and go to park to let the children play and enjoy themselves. Sometimes in the evening I would go out and hangout with my friends. :-)

Hi ctrymuziklvr,
I work around the house doing the chores that I put off while on MyLot. Then I go on PC for a while and then back to a chore, then back to PC. Like you I am in pajamas, my hair a mess, coffee cup and ashtray at hand, and relax while having fun. Meals are either already made or they are happily cooking in my crockpot. This means no problem from hubby. Hey, all is cool!!
