I thought Pride was supposed to be this force to be reckoned with. Well I guess not. I mean Cro Cop has gotten beat not by one but two UFC fighters who aren't even their top guys and then Shogun Rua the 7th generation Shote Boxe got beat by none other than Forrest Griffin, the guy who ran out crying after getting a beat down by Chis Jardine. If I was Wanderlei I wouldn't fight Chuck Liddell because he will probably get destroyed by Chuck. And what happened to the so called invincible Fedor Emanlienko. He probably saw what happened to Cro Cop and was like I'm not ruining my career by getting beat by some jackasses like that. Well tell me what you guys think about Pride fighters.

Its Full Contact Mixed Martial Arts. Most people know it as Cage Fighting. Pride Fighting is a company that held fights in Japan until they lost money and the UFC bought the contracts of their fighters. Now they all fight under the UFC.

Although this discussion is old , I want to say something about pride. Pride fighters used to fight inside a ring , not an octagon cage. The length of round was not 5 minuts and the score was calculated in a different way. Maybe it's the difference in the rings and the rules that made the pride fighters noobs for the UFC. don't forget , while being in pride , Anderson silva once lost to daiju takase all of the fight and tapped out due to a triangle bar. Now , anderson silva is the best fighter in the UFC. UFC takes only the best from other rings , making great fights , they also make the fighters taking the fighting very seriously , training all the time for many weeks before they fight.
