Today is the day that youth all across America gathered at the flagpoles to pray. They held hands, sang praise and worship songs, and took turns praying. They prayed for their families, for their friends, for their school, for their teachers and for our countries leaders. And they prayed for each other.
Have you ever participated in this National Day of Prayer?
What do you think about the concept?

It was fun. We had an elementary ceremony later in the day for the kids. Invited a guest speaker, who was a member of the 39th infantry that is leaving in January for Iraq. He was really great with the little ones.
