Ok heres a link for some useless information, but interesting lol www.brownielocks.com/wordorigins.html Ever wondered where phrases and sayings originated from? A post I was just commenting on made me think of the phrase "worked to death" Has anyone heard someone use this phrase? Are you familiar with it in any way? I was asking him if possibly that term came from employers really hoping you woul die versus you living long and healthy and collecting every bit of that chunk they owe you from your retirement plan. lol I didnt find any info on it, I did a few searches and came across this link Ive left. It was rather interesting reading, some things I knew about some I didnt, so I learned something! OK, so to sum it up; have you heard this phrase used before? & if you have, where do you think it orginated? Bay xx
