what was the most annoying phone call you had received?

whether it is from a house phone or from your mobile unit.... what was the most annoying phone call you got?i am a singer and i work almost every night and works sometimes up to 3:00 in the morning. then i have to travel back home for an hour or so.
when i reach home i need to take care of my children for they will go to school and be leaving at 7:00 am. lucky me if i am sleeping already at around that time.
the most annoying call i got was around 8:00 in the morning and it is just from a guy who likes my singing voice and got my number at the bars manager. i think they are friends thats why he got my number from him. i met this guy at the bar maybe twice or 3 times. i never turn off my cell phone for emergency reasons.
when i answered the call he said "good morning, i just woke up how are you?" i was sleeping maybe 20 minutes ago when he called. i answered i got home at around 5 in the morning. please dont forget that i work at nights im trying to get some sleep. then i hang up. lucky me he never bothers my sleep again. but that was really annoying.
i know a lot more out there has experience a more annoying call than the one i got. whats yours?

Several years ago we moved to a different city and I got a new cell phone number so that it would be a local call. I guess it was someone else's number not long before I got it, because I received calls for some guy I've never heard of for the first few months.
The most annoying call was from what I assume was his girlfriend. She asked for him, and when I explained to her that this was now my phone number, she called me all sorts of names and cussed me out. I hung up on her, but she called me back to continue harrassing me. She thought I just wasn't letting her talk to this guy, so I finally put my husband on the phone.

ouch this is annoying. calling you sorts of name maybe she was thinking that you are the new girl. lucky your husband is around. thanks for the response.

Annoying phone call? i don't know what it means to me.Maybe during my college life, someone always call me and want to have a date with him.If i do not accept,he will not stop calling.At that time he may push me the limit, and i cannot keep silence all the time,and I always got into rage and yelled to him.I feel very uncomfortable when i thought of that each time.

My response won't be that long because I can say the most annoying phone calls I get are from creditors. You can talk to them once during the day and for some reason they feel the need to call you once again to talk about the same thing. If I say I'm sending a payment in I'm sending it in. Them calling another three million more times really won't make the process go any faster. :D

The most annoying phone call is when I pick the phone and said Hello, and he said, "Who is this?", then I hanged up without words.
This is very annoying, you are the one who want to see someone, of course you should know who you are looking for, not by asking Who Am I.
It's not their fault, because their phone-education is very low. But by doing this, I hope they will learn to talk in the right manner in phone next time.

yes i agree with you thats annoying. once i was at my friends house and her sister who lives abroad called, when i said hello she ask who i am, and i said she called so she should tell me who she wants to speak with. i mean not because it is your sister's house that doesnt mean she is always available to answer her call. thanks for the response

The most annoying phone calls I've gotten lately have been from some place in Orlando that keeps calling to let me know I've won a trip. The funny thing is that I haven't entered any contests. Also it's an automated message and when you asking you to push one to claim your prize. A friend of mine got calls like this about a year ago and pushed one to see what would happen. They were put on hold forever and then talked to someone who said they hadn't actually won yet, they had to do some stuff first. The kicker was that tthey were being charged $5.99 per minute of the call and they didn't know it until their phone bill came the following month.

omg, this is annoying. and whats annoying is as you said it keeps calling you. you cant even let them stop for it is automated message. thanks for the response

Hum that would have to be all the telemarketers that seem to always continue to call 24/7, (so it seems) to the point that I sometimes have to unplug the phone line during the day it really can get that bad sometimes. And the weirdest part is that I was one of those people who had originally signed that Do Not Call Petition some years back, and well, let's just say that they have found yet another way to annoy me and my family, and I really dislike it!
