I'm Thinking About Getting a New Truck / myLot

I want a 1992-1996 Dodge Ram 1500, but I don't know the best way to go about it. Any suggestions?? We went to the Dodge dealer on Tuesday and we found the perfect truck. It was even the right color and had a bunch of extras, like a power rear window. The problem? $21,000. That's alot of money but I don't want to buy a truck from some 'side of the road' car dealership. I want a good deal, but I don't know how to find the right vehicle for the right price. I would really appreciate any suggestions you might have.

yeh I know how you feel I would love to buy a new car but it is strange how they expect you to give them money for them hahahaha, gee 21,000 is a lot of posting, I am going to see what suggestions you get to get your truck and I will do the same to get a new car..good luck...

Thanks for your input. I'm hoping for more, but this is a good start. I've been looking at other dealerships for a different truck, but my boyfriend doesn't want to "settle" for something that isn't exactly what we want. I think that it's a good attitude. Why make payments for 5 years on something we aren't happy with. Thanks again!!!
