Your bestfriend or your husband?

An acquaintance of mine was proud to share to me how she treasures friends. That at one point in her life she chose her bestfriend over her husband. And now, she's raising her child alone and she's not with her best friend.
Personally, I think It was such a dumb decision. Love/family relationship and friend relationship are both different....you just cannot compare them with each other....a true bestfriend is somebody who will respect your family....who will also value how you feel for your husband and your child as your family and that a bestfriend shouldn't come first before your husband and child. But that doesn't mean that you don't care about your bestfriend...a bestfriend should understand and accept when a friend is happy having a family....What do you think?

My husband is my best friend.
He is the one I can count on at all times, even when I am totally miserable he keeps me going!
Friends are great to have and even better if we can keep them but most of the friends Ihave made over the years have moved on with their lives. Families are always there, I have good friends now but who knows where they will be in 10 years time. At least with my hubby I know he will stand by me.
