Isn't it funny how you run into people at places you least expect?

I was at work tonight and was training a new trainee. She had just started with a new friend and she looked so familiar to me. And ironically...we have the same first name. Well, I finally figured it out by the end of the night...we worked together at my previous job. Here's another irony. I worked there with my husband. Our last name starts with the letter A. She also worked there with her husband and their last name started with the letter Z. The CEO of the company thought it was hilarious that the beginning and end of the employees in the company were husband/wife teams. lol small world. My husband constantly runs into people he's known since he was a kid. Its crazy.

For me, these kind of events always make me smile. Haven't you ever thought about these weird "coincidensies" that happen in the most unpredictable and unbeliebable places? You think about a person you have't thought about for years and suddenly that person calls you out of the blue? Or you meet that person totally unexpectidly? It happened to me so many times. Sometimes even with the same person. People, wake up ! These are no coincidensies ! Mathematically, if you would make statistics about these things you would discover that it would be much easier to win the big jackpot lottery that this being a coincidense. These things happen for a reason. You are supposed to meet these people in yr life because probably they have something important to tell yu or you to them. There is a great book about this subject. It's called "The Celestine Prophecy". It's quite old, about 10-12 years old book but still sold everywhere. In the first paragraphs they talk about these "chance events" not being chance at all. Our spiritual lessons we came to learn here are pushing us in certain directions to meet the right people at the right time in the right places - all that to learn and grow and become more in tune with what we are supposed to do here in this lifetime. That doesn't mean that all is predisposed, no, not at all. IT just means that there are certain crosspoints we have to cross in order for us to experience certain things in our lives that will enable us to become all that we can be... Start paying attention to these "little unimportant coincidensies". They are little (and sometimes BIG!) signs you are supposed to do or go somewhere for yr personal development.

For me it wasn't really running into people I knew, but People who I could have in theory known. What I mean is that after I moved to Houston from California, it seemed like every other person I met was from California too - often having lived just miles away from me! It was strange, one guy (a nurse friend of mine now) even grw up in laguna beach, and I had driven past his mom's house like a million times and never met him! My hubby now spent 8 years in sandiego and oceanside when he was in the navy - like an hour away from me - and I didn't meet him until Iwas living in texas! It definetly made the world seem a lot smaller when things like that would happen! Kind of creepy too - but in a good way!

Yes, this has happened to me, lots of times. My hubby was raised around here, and has been here almost all of his life. So, it's not unusual for him to see people that he knows. But I have run into people whom I have known or worked with in weird places too. Once I stopped at a rest area after being in a long traffic jam while on a trip, and out of one of the stalls was a young lady I had worked with a few years earlier, we both commented on how remarkable it was to run into one another like that. Also, I have a face that I guess looks so familiar to everyone. Everywhere I go people think they know me from somewhere.
