today's top discussion means discussions that are started today and are getting good responses. Today's hot discussions are those which have got many responses today but was not started today.

todays top discussion is that discussion which is created today and have the greatest no of post in recent day but todays hot discussion means the discissioon which is made previously but have a higher no of posts in recent day :)
