Have you ever had a dream that has stuck with you since childhood? I have. I have the worst dream ever. After my dad left us in 1987 when I was only seven, I started this crazy dream. I call him my little man. This little man who comes to me in his sleep looks like a little leprichaun. He will usually come out of the closet and very slowly work his way up to me and I can't move. Suddenly he is right in my face pointing at me with his finger almost touching me. I then wake up and can't get back to sleep. One time my ex asked why I wanted to sleep with the closet doors open. I told him about my reacurring dream and that if I were to close the doors he would bang on them till he gotout. He made fun of me. I told him that I knew it was just silly dreams but it just helped me to sleep better. That night he made me try to sleep with the doors shut. Before either one of got to sleep we were startled with a loud Bang! When we turned on the lights the closet doors were wide open. My ex thinks that this is not a dream but a spirit that is somehow connected to me. Recently this little ma has made his way back into my dreams. Is this real? Should I see a doctor?

I have had a reoccurring dream since my early 20s. I got stuck in an elevator for a few minutes. Since then I have these dreams where the elevator stops or keeps going until it shoots out of the top of the building. As I have gotten older I have found that I have these dreams and the panic attacks that follow when I am under a lot of stress. I think that dreams are a way of dealing with stress in our lives. One thing I have found happening in my dreams is that I realise that it is just a dream and not real. Try a search for lucid dreaming to understand how to deal with these dreams. If it is really worrying you try and talk to somebody who is sympathic to you and won't make fun of you. Take care.

ooooo freaky! who knows, maybe see a physcic. I used to have a dream about a little boy, no real details but I'd have it through my waking day too. I used to sense a little boy felt about 8. I remember standing in my kitchen and thinking my oldest had walked past me on route to the loo, but took so long coming back I went to check, to find no one there. Laying on the sofa my head sometimes tickled like someone was playing with my hair. I went and had my cards read and was told there was a little girl who liked being around me and liked my hair. I tried arguing it was a boy but she was adamant. Anyway was somehow comforted having it confirmed i wasn't a fruit case (maybe i am lol)it stopped when i moved though so thats the end of that.
