Hi everyone last night as I was doing my dishes and looking out my kitchen window I saw a yellow finch on one of my birdfeeders. I was so excited because Ive been trying all summer to get them here. They are really pretty. And they eat from a different kind of birdfeeder and a different seed. Which I had and it just sat there all summer untouched by any other birds. This was a baby yellow finch. I hope I see him again. Just wanted to share with you.

That's lovely Terry. You sure are lucky to have different birds around you. It's mostly sparrows and starlings in my yard. I've put out wild bird seed but they were the main takers. I'm treying to grow some Aussie natives out the front but the wind has dried the leaves to a dreadful extent, I'm not sure they'll survive.
