What is your CD fixation?

I have a six disk cd-changer in my car. I typically listen to one disk over and over again. Currently it's my New Kids on the Block killer mix CD I created. Prior to that it was the band Brand New. Before that it was my "Punk goes Pop/Punk goes 80's" mix cd I created. And I saw what you said to my girl flight84, look dude don't be knocking the New Kids, especially when you're not even old enough to really know who they even were. you and your stupid mellow jack johnson (I don't really hate Jack Johnson...just don't know the New Kids or I'll have to Hire a hit man.)

yes i do that sometimes too,but i have a very big selection on my computer in my library.i have over 3000 songs that a good friend of mine put there for me so i get to listen to alot.especially the 80;s are on there which is really cool.but latly i must of listened to rockstar by nickelback a thousand of times my babies love that song.they try to sing it,its so cute my one baby will say mommy im a rockstar and hes 2.very cute though.pattie

I'm quite similar to Gradyslady. The CDs that I buy or acquire are usually of artists I am not familiar with and I will play them (usually on random) for a few weeks or months until they're embedded in my inner music library. I am definitely open-minded when it comes to most things, especially music. I love all styles, but my most recent fixation has been with musician 'Beirut'. My boyfriend and I have played his début album almost non-stop for the past 2 months, although we have to give it a rest now for fear of getting over it =P I have just purchased a second-hand 25 CD Stereo, so I have a wide range on top of the thousands of songs on my computer =D

I'll listen to anything. I normally buy cds of bands I don't know or I do know and then I leave them sitting there for like months, then come in and listen to them one day and I absolutely love them!
