What am I suppose to do with the Liserine? Spray it on the mosquitoes? Leave bowls of it out for the mosquitoes to get drunk on? I'm all for getting rid to the little nasties, so please share how this works.

This is a new one for me. Is it a reliable source that sent you the email? I know that regular Listerine is strong and nasty tasting, so I could see it working. If you have any other info on this I'd love to see it.

Please do let us know. The mosquitoes are really bad where I live too, and they bite me all the time and they swell and itch like crazy, so I would definitely be interested in knowing more about this. My mom swears by using apple cider vinegar for ant and mosquito bites. She says it takes the itch out of it and promotes healing, I do have to admit that it does work on me for that. So maybe there is something to the listerine. Have a great day my friend :)

Listerine is a medicated mouth wash. It is not insecticide or mosquitoes killer. Spray of insecticide cause to finish the mosquitoes. DDT is a famous insecticide. Fumigation of insecticide also a remedy of the problem of mosquitoes. If you if you burn the dry stuff of dejects of animals like cow, the smoke of that stuff also cause to finish the mosquitoes.

Wasn't DDT banned in North America because of its harmful effects on animals and birds, something about causing deformities? Has it been brought back now?

hi cajun, I have heard that Dr Techinor's antiseptic was good for mosquito bites. I used this when I was youger and living in Louisiana. After I moved I could not find any up here, so when I go south I bring back some. I heard eating garlic in your food, the mosquitos will not bite you. I have garlic in my food regularly and I rarely get bitten by mosquitos. It does not work on my husband though. Happy posting..
