Hi peanutjar! I think it is a mixture of innocence and excitement! Kids just can't keep quiet because they LOVE to be the first one to tell I guess. I'm sorry the surprise was "let out of the bag" but as you said the gifts are still a surprise! Have fun and take care! Your Friend, PurpleTeddyBear ;)

I agree! You have to be very careful while they are young. Yes, the no lies are great, but they also like to copy their parents a lot! My mom warned me to double check that I watch my mouth because she doesn't want a potty-mouthed Grand daughter lol. Love & Hugzz, Your Friend, PurpleTeddyBear ;)

Hi purpleteddybear!LOL,my daughter has a teddy bear the same as your advatar that she got in the hospital when she was born.I bought it for her the day that i went in to have her.Its sitting on a shelf in her bedroom.I love the innocence of a child this young. They dont know how to tell lies and how to keep secrets,so i think this is the best way to have it.If,i think,,,we tell them lies,i think they will learn this from us and do the same thing. If we dont then they will not learn it,at least not anytime soon.lol:)

I guess it's still the innocence in them that makes them tell our little secrets, you shuld be proud of her. Atleast, she doesn't tell a ile of invent words that you didn't told her!;) I have a niece who couldn't keep a secret, that sometimes annoys at the same time!;) So to keep my secret (dirty or not!LoL), I do my best not to share it to her or else the whole world will know! Hehehe!

Hi raijin!Hows things?!I was talking baout it after with my boyfriend that we should be very happy that she doesnt keep things from us.Shes only 4 1/2 and i think its the age to understand lies/being taught to fib,so we dont want her to start doing this and end up keeping stuff from us in the future if something ever happened and such. She cany wait to spit something out to someone. Its actually funny seeing her figgit,we know its bothering her to spill the beans.lol:)

I would like to children are very very innocent ,they are only in the learning stages of this world's lies and hypocrisy, they dont know the side effetcs of speakng truth, they cant keep anything in their mind and they just speak it out,and let me tell you all,if you have noticed or not ,this is certainly the reason why we love children

Hi!Yes its one of the reasons i love her.She does not keep anything from us even stuff that happened at the garderie with concerning other children. Some like to pick on her and shes 4 1/2 and they are like 1 year younger than her.She says they always get put in the bad chair, lol.I dont want her to learn how to lie and i think its mainly learnt this young fron the parents actions. If we dont lie to her, then she will not lie to us.Thats what i think though.:)

hi peanut, Young children like excitement! A party!!are you kidding? You want that kept a secret with a young child? The suspense is too much for them. They are all for sharing the fun. They know how they feel when it's their birthday, so they want to make the other person happy too. Children are too young to know the value of keeping a secret or the impact of telling that secret. With time and maybe a little stress, you will be surprised at how well they will be able to keep secrets when they are older. Practice a little more, she'll get better.. Happy posting..

Hi!:)I think im like a child too, because we try to beat each other to see whos going to say something the first, lol.Im kind of scared now to teach her to learn how to keep secrets, lol.i dont want her to keep them from me.She tells me everything she hears and what happens to her.Especially when she goes to the garderie during the week sometimes and as soon as i pick her up she tells me her day and if someone picked on her and that, lol.I like it when she tells me.If i want to do something next time,i will just keep the little secret from her and she will be surprised too,he,he.:)
