I don't see anything wrong with it actually. I am just curious because in our country (I'm from the Philippines) this is an uncommon occurrence. Or if there are men/women here who do it, they are discreet about it and won't admit doing it.

Well, I can understand that. We're both from the Philippines and it has something to do with our values and culture. No offense meant to other people, I have nothing against those who do have one night stands. In fact, I would entertain the thought sometimes. LOL.

Yes,I don't see it as something bad so I don't also have anything against people who do that.
LOL do you really consider doing it? hehe, think it would be fun? hahaha. I would have to summon all guts for me to be able to do that, really big deal for us Filipinos :)

Yeah, I do get some naughty thoughts too. Like I said we are not very open to this but in the back of our minds... there lurks some mischievous imagination that we opt to push back in the deepest part of our subconscious. :)

One night stands are foolish endeavors in this day and age. You never know what diseases a person has. How would you when you only know the person on a physical point?

I agree...when I was big on flings it was in the 80s...if for some reason I were to end up single now, there is NO WAY I'd be like I used to be because it IS far too risky in comparison..not that it wasnt back then mind you but not to the extreme IMO that it is now

LOL I've had MANY one night stands and weekend flings in my life...I actually prefered it for a time yrs ago cause I wanted a pc of tail but didnt want a relationship so hookin up for a night or weekend was prime.....

Honestly, I haven't had any because I don't feel like doing it so. I'm not used to these type of situations, I find it still very awkward. I don't really think of having one, I prefer to look for serious types of relationships than play with emotions and physical attractions.

Well, one night stand is different from rape. I think we can say that it something that is done between two consenting adults.

Well, I've only had one one night stand and it was great! He was a lovely man, he made me feel beautiful and special and he was very gentle and attentive and it lasted hours. The next day, he didn't make me feel bad about it, rather he gave me a note thanking him for a wonderful night, and came to find me later to kiss me. All of these things combined to erase any guilt or regret or embarrassment and so my first experience of a one night stand was all fun with no hurt.
But I know I'm one of the lucky ones and that most people's experiences do not go like this. If I was ignored by the man or made to feel bad about it by him afterwards, or if one of us was in a relationship, I would have had an altogether different and unpleasant experience.

This is the first time I know how to express it in English, Mylot is really a good place to learn English. "One-night stand" is popular in China, I can accept it.
