i love gardening. i love growing flowers and ornamental plants and having fruit trees around it. i also want to cultivate vegetable plots and have a swing and a pond in between. the problem is, i don't have the time. i am so busy. and now that i live with my in-laws, we don't have the space. i miss my childhood days when we used to have a nice wide garden that the whole family maintained?how about your? do you still have time for some gardening?

Gardening is one of my hobbies. I used to have a porch full of plants like peace lilies, orchids, and magic roses. They are simple plants but at least they give me joy whenever I see them bloom. Now, I live in the dorm and there's not a place for me to keep my plants but still I want to have a little garden. It would be great if I could have a garden at the back of the house but that's not even feasible because there's not a place that is not cemented. Anyway, in order to satisfy myself a little bit, I buy plants in pots and pile them in a row along the fence

sigh...and gardening is a costly hobby, too, huh? used to spend a lot in my old home, just to beautify the garden. but it is just pretty. i like going out there on clear nights...right now, i just contend with my father-in-law's small garden right outside my office nook. we're living on the 3rd floor on top of our store and that is as much garden space that i have. my papa in law loves plants, too, that is why he has spared some space for a garden, even just a small one. :-)

It could be costly if you prefer the expensive plants. But for me I settle with what my money can afford. At least here the ones that I love are not that expensive. By the way, glad to know you have somebody in the house who share the same interest. At least you're not at all depraved. Well, I guess you just have to enjoy what you have for now and hopefully you will get your own garden where you can spend time in.

yup! my papa-in-law takes care of the plants and of course, he buys them. i just get to have a lovely view of the garden while i am doing my computer work. the garden is on the left and the kitchen is on my right. what more could i ask for? hahaha

I'm in a situation where I cant garden. I do keep up on my botany and yard maintenance info from time to time. In away I do miss true gardening, but at least I have some experience and some botany nerdism that keeps growing.

I use to have a garden, Vegetable garden. i plant asparagus, beans, broccoli, and other Baguio vegetables. LOL... was I a farmer then? I missed doing that. my flower potted plants are all existing on their own, they also must have missed my TLC back home. We will soon have all the time to go back to do what we love doing. In a little while though, because like you we have to set priorities.

Of course I do have. But not as much. Even if I have only a little garden, I make the most out of it. Gardening refreshes me. Everytime I see my plants bloom, it gives me a different aura. It's nice to see flowers in your garden.

Like you i also love gardening.Getting no time is not an excuse. But you have to find some time for it.Space is another concern. You can pant indoor plants. But they are little bit costlier.

Who does not like to see flowers, plants and tress! I like to see flowers blooming and love to see plants, when I get up in the morning. I have many plants in my house and I enjoy watching and nuturing them. I agree with you that gardening is an expensive hobby and time consuming, yet I like it.

Spoiled311, I still have time to do gardening. Every weekend I find some time to relax in our garden and then do some gardening.
