My arms and legs are going numb
September 29, 2007 9:42am CST
This week I've started noticing that my left arm and both legs occasionally are falling asleep (tingling sensations, but I still have control over them). I saw my doctor and he said that I might have some circulation problems. I don't think that's it because this morning while I was running around the house looking for something it happened again and really bad. Has this happened to anyone else?

Are you a diabetic if so you might be experienceing neuropathy . the diabetes is attacking your nerves in your legs and feet.its common among people who have had diabetes fora while before being diagnosed.go to an endocrinologist to get some needed help as there are medications that help alleviate those needles and pins feeling. also you have to get your blood sugar in good control.I had it when I was first diagnosed but it went away once I lost a lot of weight and got good control of my blood sugar. goodluck.

I do suffer a lot from spine pain and due to this my whole body keeps paining from time to time. Numbness happens when one of our vien is under some pressure and blood does not flow properly through the body. You should take hot water bath. If possible go for spa....I have never gone, but my daughter always advices me to go for spa, where they really give your body a good massage and lot of hot water furmitation etc, which helps to free these surpressed veins and makes the blood flow in the body even and regular. Also try to do some basic exercises like putting your hands up and on sides,,,,,,,bending a bit etc. But if this continues you surely have to see your doctor. I am myself avoiding my health for long time....I hope nothing goes wrong.so don't be like me...take care of yourself as soon as possible.
