Do you think I need to go to Culinary Arts school to making cooking my lifes work?

I think it depends. I bet you could get some experience from culinary school but I don't know if it is worth your time or money. Cooking is something you can learn on your own by simply experimenting. Like Rachael Ray and Paula Deen aren't chefs and haven't had a formal culinary education, but they are still successful with cooking.

very true! Maybe I will just take a few classes to teach me some of what I want to know. OR maybe I will apply for a job as a kitchen helper downtown where there is a good chef to teach me some of the ropes.

Hi, May be to make you into a professional and also you can teach them your part to them and learn their part. If that is better it helps in finding new things that brings a brighter side to society. Finally if that is too excellent you may get awarded too.
