Well, I did it when I was first here.. Now, I don't do it any longer and hate the idea of tagging other's threads.. originally, mylot may have given that facility to find like-minded threads among friends.. but I personally feel that it hijacks the original concept of the idea the thread owner had in his mind at the time of posting.. Even while searching for threads it gives a different and unwanted dimension to the thread.. I know, I may be wrong here or am I? Please pass on your comments.. much appreciated.. Thanks

I add tags if there aren't enough tags on the discussion already as sometimes people forget or don't know it's important to add tags. Or sometimes if I make a specific point I add a tag. I've noticed people do try to hi-jack threads by adding strange tags like mature contents when there is no mature content. It's pointless so I don't know why people bother.

Thanks so much, atleast you subscribe to my thought.. With due apologies to all those who add tags where they feel it is due and important, I would like to say that I don't have a problem as long as we stay on course.. Problem starts once we go off-the-track( and taken offtrack..) lol.. Thanks for ur response.. I appreciate it..

you are very right.. Even I too don't have a problem if the tags aren't misleading or disconnected to the thread in question.. Worse still if the tag deviates other posters from the main topic... umm... I get annoyed.. Well, this is what happened to me a few days back and I opened this thread as a reaction to it.. but no regrets honestly.., I laugh it away in the hindsight.. thanks for your response..
