How do you get your kids to brush their hair?

My 2 year old daughter is the most stubborn child on this rock! She refuses to have her hair brushed & put into a ponytail, etc. Once in a great while she'll let us do it but otherwise we have to bribe her, etc. She has long wavy hair so we need to do it alot and we don't want to cut it all off. Any suggestions?

Luckily, I don't have this problem. My two and a half year old loves getting her hair done. She brushes it herself first, then I put it up. We have only had a problem a few times, and during those times, I told her she couldn't go with us when we left if she didn't have her hair brushed and put up. She went right in and got the brush! Good luck!

Thanks! We've tried telling her that she can't go places with us but she still refuses to do her hair for the most part. Worst of all, she lets her great-grandpa or her grandma do it but not us & we're not with them all the time!
