Have you recommended a writer at Helium?

If you go to Helium.com and then click on the word "Community" on the top of the page, then look for "Recommend a Writer" and click on that, you will get all the information for recommending a writer. I was interested in recommending a writer. But there is a lot to it. Every time I check it gets harder and more complicated, to me. Originally, the writer had to have quite a few articles and a self-portrait on the "about me" page. Now there is an entire page of steps to go through. So have you ever recommended a writer? Has someone ever recommended you? There is a rule against recommending yourself. If you were recommended, did it help your earnings? If you recommended someone else, did the other person's earnings improve? Did you or the other person receive a lot of mail? Spam? Opportunities?

I have never recommended a writer on Helium. I am too busy writing my novel and being on mylot, plus the usual housework, etc. to do much writing on Helium. I am a terrible non fiction writer and when I read about going through hoops, I do not like that idea. I know people did bug me, praised Helium to high heaven to get me to join, and I regret I did.

I'm sorry you feel that way. It's not a good fit for everyone. My articles are finally making money, took three months, but someone out there knows I'm alive. You can delete your account out, but then the money that is made just all goes to Helium (not that that is very much, but over time, it may count up). So how goes the novel? Do you find mylot a better fit? I find non-fiction easier than fiction. Then we all have our strengths. Take care

I haven't tried recommending any writers. Heck, I can't even find you over there and I'm sure I read on here that you use the same name. If I can't figure that out, I'm sure to get confused with all the steps in recommending a writer!
