I think winter is coming soon. And it is time for me to start buying some new sweater for my children. Since the old one are too small already mostly. How about you, do you always buy new winter clothes or sweater every year, or you just wear what you have from old stock. Please share!

I live in a northern city in China. It is common for me to see snow. In winter, the temperature is below -30 degrees centigrade. It is very cold and with strong wind. When I was a child, my brother and I often make a snowman. We have a gas furnace that is controlled by a thermostat so i can set my thermostat at 80 and the heater wont kick on until it gets cold enough to do so. I leave it set at a certain temp all winter long unless it gets colder then i turn it up or if it gets warmer i turn it down.

Oh yeah, I always buy new winter clothes for myself and my kids (even the 21 year old). I love clothes and I am always excited when the seasons change because I get to buy some new trendy and cool looking stuff. I always have to buy my 17 year old a new coat and boots because he grows like crazy. I like to buy sweaters, boots, and at least one jacket although I have one really warm coat that I use when it is below zero. BRRR.

Actually, in the winter I generally wear jeans and sweats which I already have. I wear sweat shirts which I already have. I do need to look at getting another coat and slippers for in the house. Hubby stays in the house since he is housebound and he mostly wears shorts (yup, even in the winter) and sweats. I sometimes buy some new sweats or, like this year, I'll have to get some thicker slippers or socks b/c the diabetes is making my feet extremely cold all the time. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

For myself, i don't buy winter clothes every year. If the sweater and jas winter still good, i don't buy. Waste of money ^_^. But my son, i don't have to buy jas winter for him because he got many from my husband's family. Mostly i only buy for him, new socks, new shoes. Yeah..maybe 1-2 sweater for my son. I like winter ^_^ because it's almost christmas also...
