Wenger believes Thierry Henry's sale to Barcelona has brought the best out of his team. What is your opinionabout this statement?

I personally believe that Barca payed way to much for an ageing player like Henry!!! Arsenal defiantly scored out of the deal, but the statement is a bit harsh on the legend that is henry. I can imagine the is a lot of strain on the young gunners but believe its our younger players who want to make a name for themselves that are doing the job for us!!!

This season the way the lads have started it is incredible. The sale of Henry does really seem to have inspired them a lot. I hated the on again and off again affair that Henry was having last season. That is always a dampener on the dressing room. The sale to Barcelona put that to an end. Having said it, it is still early days right now. Henry used to weigh in with 20-30 goals each season. Arsenal is yet to find someone with the same capacity. Currently Fabregas is scoring for fun and others are contributing, but Arsene would be aware of the need for a proper striker to ensure 20-30 goal each season if the team wants to with the EPL this season. Cheers! Ram
