My husband kept insisting I try Midol but I figured some Advil would do the trick. The other night I had really bad cramps so I broke down and brough it. Between that and Therma Care wraps- wow what a differance!

Although it has been a very long time since cramps were part of my life, I do just want to share what a kind friend once told me that made a very big difference. She told me about taking Oil of Evening Primrose. A less expensive supplement with a similar effect is Borage oil. Either of these nutritional supplements, will after a time do a tremendous job in relieving cramps. For me, there was a noticeable difference in just one month and before a year had passed I was able to throw out all the pain killers and begin living a normal life. Actually the ingredients in Evening Primrose Oil capsules are good for everyone, not just ladies having the thing women in my generation called "the curse." Here is a very complete article on the subject: http://www.rd.com/content/openContent.do?contentId=1523 Just a note, I didn't need anywhere near the recommended amount to get excellent results. I was a starving student and could not afford it! Incidentally primrose or borage or black currant are not just good for women of a particular age, they are also good for men and women of all ages, as in addition to cramps, they alleviate problems associated with endometriosis, diabetes, eczema, and a host of other baddies. Watch out, though as it has also been used to reverse infertility.,
