Children today are so clever

I'm not sure what make children today are so clever. Even a 3 or 4 or 5 yrs, they know much thing. Its not when I was a kid. Its really different.
Lets say if I talk/ask something to my child, she will answer like an adult answer. Sometimes it makes me laugh myself.
I think may be because of TV. Is it true? What do you think?

I think tv may be part of it - so many childrens shows are geared towards learning, with hidden little bits of teaching in them. Also I think that kids toys are getting more and more geared towards education as well. We have this ball things that sings and rolls by itslef, but it also sneaks in stuff like "where's the puppy?" and you're supposed to press the puppy button and thn the ball sings for you - and it's for 6 - 18 MONTH OLD BABY! What 6 month old knows what apuppy is? I guess they all do now cause things are just geared towards teaching. I know the closest things we had when I was little was the see - n - say toys, and they were no where near as advanced as the stuff they are putting on the market today!

Tv influence children so quick. Better if we have children channel or educational for children.
I think that you are also clefer when you are a kid. only that in that era we haven't have much to supply our children brain.
