I know it doesn't sound possible, but I know I am, and I think everyone at my house is too! When we went shopping today, we all wanted something plain! It was ODD!! SO we brought home a giant tube of neapolitan icecream cause it had wheat everyone wanted in it - PLAIN OLD ICE CREAM! Usually we get fancy flavors full of nuts and fudge and such - but not today! Is it possible to be bored with something that should be so exciting for my taste buds?? I think so, just wondering how others feel...

Impossible! How can an ice cream flavor be too fancy? Seriously though, the biggest problem we run in to when deciding on ice cream is getting everyone to agree to one flavor. We usually settle on two flavors and then we have tons of ice cream and eat way more than we intended.

Maybe that's it - it's so hard to pick from all of the sifferent stuff out there in the market! We also end up bringing home several different flavors, which is why we settled for the neapolitan this time. It has chocolate, strawbery and vanilla and we are having fun adding stuff to it and making each bowl tastey in a unique way! It took a lot of pressure off of teh decision making process at least :)

You know, strange to say, I feel like that sometimes. Actually I think vanilla is my favorite flavor. I escpecially love McDonald's soft serve on a plain cone, sometimes dipped in chocolate. Mmmm. I don't like their coffee though. LOL. But once in a while I like to visit Cold Stone (or is that Stone Cold) and get that sweet cream ice-cream with chopped up Kit Kat bars. Oh bother, I'm going to have to get one now. In any case, you are right sometimes Plain old ice cream rules. Have a good Monday.

Here's wishing you a lovely MOnday as well! I also love the ice cream at MCDonalds! My favorite is the vanilla hot fudge sunday - but NO nuts! I hate when they get stuck in my teeth! I also like cold stone - there just don't seem to be as many here as there were in texas - so it's kind of a pain to find one. Thakfully there are lots of baskin robbins - I only ever found one of them in Houston - so I guess it's a trade off of sorts! Anyways...Have a wonderful Monday yourself!

I think it is very possible to become bored of the fancy things. Sometimes we just buy plain old vanilla. Then you can add your own toppings. I love vanilla with caramel sauce. Sometimes I will stir peanut butter into plain chocolate or vanilla ice cream. It is actually much cheaper than buying the high priced fancy flavors.

OOH! I soooo do the peanut butter in the chocolate ice cream thing too! I'm not much on caramel though, more of a hot fudge fan with the vanilla myself! But you are right, the plain stuff is cheaper and more fun to personalize!
