Plants do a lot for us.We couldnt live without them.Plants give us most of the foods we eat.Vegetables, fruits, cereals, flour, sugar, spices, and syrups all come from plants. Plants give us wood for building houses and making furniture. From plants we get cotton, linen, and other kinds of cloth for our clothing, handkerchiefs, bedspreads, and tablecloths. Plants give us paper and rubber and string and medicines to make us well. Plants even give us the fresh air we breathe! And just as important plants give us pleasure. For, what sort of a world would it be if there were no shady trees, green grass,or lovely flowers?

yes i agree, plants are definitely important and need to be protected and grown. personally, i like the smell of air when theres an abundance of lush green plants. those places tend to have a better feel to them than places without them.

...My plants moved with me. I dug up all of my mom's iris, banana lilies, lily of the valley and my hybiscus. ...With any luck, I'll be able to have a vegetable garden next year. I really miss having fresh green beans, cucumbers, asparagus, tomatoes, peppers, okra, peas, carrots, zuccini, yellow squash, radishes and fresh herbs. It is rewarding to plants seeds, weed and harvest the produce. ...Plants alse give us oxygen. That is the most important thing. ...Great question. Peace be with you. =(^;^)= Della
