Which of you prefared Burial or Cremation

It sound a little morbid but it's very important to think of. I have a neighbor he does'nt know what to do when one of his love one pass away. He is short of cash no one to ask for some assitance. He comes to me and ask me what advise I can give him as a concern neighbor I advise him to cremate his love one to save money and his time. Am I correct to the advise I gave him? If you are in my shoe what advise are you suggest? The time will come that I will face the same situaton he been through.
