Dancing with the Stars: Week 2 performances...

Well last night was week 2 of performances and again most of them were quite impressive. Then again, some were not so impressive. My favorites were Helio, Marie, and Albert. I also liked Jennie's performance until the end of it. She has been a favorite of mine from the beginning, but I think that screw up last night may have hurt her. We will have to wait and see. She has a good fan base that may keep her going so that she can recover that mistake. As for who is going to go home, well for the first time I am undecided. Normally I am pretty good at guessing correctly. But this time I just don't think I have the answer. As for who I think should go home, it should be Wayne. Yet he has a hugh fan base that will most likely keep him going.
So which dances were your favorites? Which ones did you not like? And who do you think will go home tonight?

I haven't been able to watch my tape yet but I saw little bits of it live, very little bits, but enough to have a fairly good idea of how it went. The little I saw of Mark impressed me but I just saw a couple of seconds of his stuff. I can't wait to watch my tape!
Off the cuff prediction (without seeing anything) is Albert or Cameron tonight, but I hope not. They're both so cute. Anna is kind of a sourpuss, though, so I wouldn't be totally disappointed to see HER go.

OK, I finally got to watch my tape. The quality of talent this year is really something. I take back what I said about Albert going home. I didn't care for his dance much at all, but the stuff about his grandpa was adorable, and even Anna wasn't her usual snippy self. Marie was fantastic, Helio just amazing, Sabrina fabulous... knowing that Wayne will not go this week, even though he should, I found it hard to decide who I thought would go this week after all. I have decided that I think it will either be Cameron or (although I hate to say it) Jennie. I really like Jennie Garth and I always have, but all of the other celebrities have some sort of spark about them, something that makes them interesting and/or appealing and she just doesn't. She's very blah out there to me.
That being said, I am totally loving that the show is back. It's AWESOME!

My favorite was Helio. I think that Wayne should go home. I know he has a large fan base, but he is just not a very good dancer and that is what this competition is supposed to be about. I think that despite her little fall at the end, Jennie was good and she will be o.k. this week.

Marie was Hot with a capital 'H'! I cried when I saw her dance, and bawled when I saw her brothers cheering her on. She was fabulous! I thought she was going to pull out with top scores until Helio danced. He's pretty good too. It helps that he is Latino. LOL!
Wayne definitely has to go. He was dancing the quick step... in slow motion. I missed Mark's performance but really don't care.
Unfortunately fan base makes more of a difference than actual performance. Look at how long Master P stayed in the show. That guy had no talent for dancing and stayed in waaayyy too long. Wayne may have a big fan base but I believe others have a bigger fan base. However, not that big. Most of these stars have been out of the limelight for awhile or are in a smaller limelight, if you know what I mean (race car driver, model, boxer).
I am rooting for Marie all the way. She has already shed quite a bit of weight in only two weeks.

I think Jennie will stay because I am among many who felt so sorry for her. I read that when it was all over, and only a couple back stage people were still around, she was crying, and her husband kept kissing her on the head.
As much as I like Wayne Newton, I think he should go. He just isn't made for that kind of dancing. I admire his work ethic, it's just amazing, but he just can't fit into the ballroom world. And neither does Mark Cuban. He is huge in the sports world, and his charity work, personal charity work, makes me want him to succeed. Can you believe he just had a hip replacement, and he logged the most practive hours?
Floyd just gets me with his hopeful look. When he's done dancing he looks so hopeful, like maybe I did good this time. I'd like to see him go far. And Jane Seymour got a bad deal. Last year Len Goodman complained about a female dancer's 'raunchiness.' That's just a shame. She's 56 and she wore that really revealing outfit, how much more does she have to do? I read in the same place that I read about Jennie's reaction, that Jane and her partner (Tony?) were mad. I read all that off of tvguide's website.
The ones I really like are Marie, Floyd, Mark (I have to root for someone who tries so hard), Jane, Sbrina, and Helio. I'd prefer to see Wayne or Mel B. go, but I think the one to go will be Mark.

This is the first year that I can say I am truely excited about the show. I think it is because there are more people in it that I feel I know more based on there shows. I don't want any of my favorites to go to soon. Helio (dont' know him but wow he can dance) Marie, Jeannie, Jane, Sabrina who I also dont' know! Actually right now my prediction would be that Helio and Sabrina might be the last two standing just because they both stand out so strongly and I can't imaagine them sliding back anytime soon no matter what the dance. But if I had my choice because I like them so so much; it would be to see Marie and Jeannie face off in the end! Oh I forgot; in Jeannie's dance last night; wasn't it her partner that caused the flub? The look on her face in the end I though she must of got really hurt but maybe she was just so embarrassed. Nothing to be embarrassed about so if she was I hope she lets that go real quick. I hope she has received lots of letters of encouragment today.
