Could you survive without a mobile phone? I know i couldn't. It might as well be attached to my hip, i even sleep next to it in the morning. It is my life line without it i wouldn't be able to function. I don't know how people survived back in the day!!! Even now if someone gets hurt or there is trouble, help is only a phone call away. Who is in agreement?

I don't rely my everyday life on such gadget, there are more things to take advantage of. I don't have to think of troubles just to prove I need a cellphone, people will feel whenever they are in danger. As for emergencies, there those crash courses to take in saving lives such as "first aid." I have my cellphone, but my means of communications is more than from what a cellphone can provide me. I will not feel helpless nor be in a stage of desperation if I can't get a hold of my cp..

But first aid can't handle serious situations, only basic ones. Sometimes you need a air lift or there is a huge accident or someone is robbing your home. I think they really are helpful and extremely necessary in the fast paced world we live in today.

Yes, cellphone provides everything to be easier. But during the time where cellphones where not around, people are still living especially on emergencies..

I think I can live without one as long as I have a computer with a connection to the internet. But I personally think I'll be depress without one. Here in my country, even people living in shanties have cellphone so it would really be an ego breaker if you don't have one.

See but in another sense, a computer is a cellphone. So you can't substitute one for the other. All these people say that they do not need one but in truth they do the same things everyone else does on their phones just on their computers. But a cell phone has one up coz it actually allows you to get out of the house. Computers restrict you to home. Thank you for responding:)

sure thing, i have lived before cellphone came and so i can. but the thing is probably i'll have to adjust if i don't have a cellphone. although i don't really text or used it frequently but it's really useful when it comes to my family. i live away from them so i have to have contact from them. its hustle when you have to log on to the internet just to send them email right. cellphone can communicate people wherever you are and anytime.

I agree with you there. I think that one could adapt without one but they definitely do make life easier. Thanks for sharing.

Well i think that is very good. But don't you think that when the world changes you need to adapt, otherwise you will get left behind? This goes for you to pof?

Yes. I have a cell phone, but I never use it. I hardly even talk on my home phone. I'd cancel the phone service, but I need it to get online.

i guess i can but it will be so hard. haha. because every now and then, we will really need out cellphones. meeting with someone, getting in touch etc really requires you to have a cellphone.. i guess CELLPHONES, nowadays, are a necessity :D

I used to think I couldn't survive without one either. But now that I really can't afford one, I've learned to manage. I have a prepaid phone for emergencies only. I don't use it much. But now I work from home and a house phone is much cheaper. Since I don't have to leave my house as much, I don't need a cell phone as much either. Thanks!

But see that situation is different coz you have a phone at home, but i'm hardly ever at home so i need my phone constantly to keep in contact, and i know of a couple situations where it has saved my life, figuratively and literally:)
