do you still like it when men propose marriage by popping the marriage question in a special way? or are you like the others who just talk about it and then get maried? would you still want to get an engagment ring? i do. and my husband did give that to me.:-)

My view is that a man should still 'pop the question' by going down on one knee and presenting an engagement ring at the same time. I think that it is so important for women to be wooed.
Further, I fear that those who just talk about it and then get married have not 'gone into it sufficiently' and are more likely to get into difficulties later on.

you are so right laura. my husband didnt get down on his knees. it was pretty simple, but the way he did it was simply--sacred. :-)
