Our male cat is once again not feeling well and has decided that he want to pee behind my sons toilet. Does anyone know of a spray that is effective on tile?

Hi... There is this stuff called Urine Gone. It works great in removing urine smell... I got it at Walgreen's in the 'as seen on tv' section. I used it when my Sprite was still with us. She was 20 years old and not too good at getting into the litter box. Anyway, with male cats you want to make sure he doesn't have a UTI. For some reason male cats are prone to them...

Thanks. I am 99% sure he doesn't have a urine problem. The cats are rescue cats and he has damaged sinus cavities. This time of the year last year he got sick w/sinus problems and I am pretty sure (based on the mucus he threw up this morning) he has the same thing.

There are also several organic cleaners like Simple Solution, Odoban or other eliminators you can get at pet stores or even regular stores these days.

Hmmm.....I never had the problem of getting rid of the smell on tile. I just used my pine cleaner (real strong, of course) and it did the job fine.

Vanilla, pure vanilla from the grocer. miix some with some water in a spray bottle or use on a sponge on the tile. It is super for this. Also white vinegar is used to remove huuman urine smell, you might try that. I use the vanilla regularly when I have a kitty who leaves such 'gifts'.
