I've been complimented on my ability to wear clothes in a tasteful manner. Sometimes people compliment me on my cooking, but mostly on my baking. People have given me compliments for my ideas, thinking of things they haven't thought of. So what do you get completments on?

I've been complimented alot by my guests in the hotel i've worked as a friendly and natural smile that comes from the heart. I am a guest relation so I have to do that but mostly I realize myself that I smile and being friendly because I like to do so...

That's when it's best. A natural smile from the heart. It's great when you you have a job that is the way your really are. I have a little of that at my current job. Must be nice to have a compliment about being naturally happy at your job. Looking forward to that someday. Take care and wish me luck!

I used to teach sunday school in our church for a small group of children and I did enjoy it even at times they have taken a lot of my patience. As we know children are noisy, naughty and they quarrel often which at times I find it unbearable. I am a child myself so still I was able to get along with them. To watch those happy face at me whenever I see them is enough but children are thoughtful because once in a while I can still received from them small tokens which is very touching. So nice to know that at their young minds they know how to appreciate small deeds ;-)

I went to see the Puppini Sisters a few months ago and I got to meet them after the show and they told me I looked like Rita Hayworth! I was so red-faced and flattered! I think they were just being nice because I was in a wheelchair, but what a lovely thing to say!

What a lovely compliment! It's hard to tell, but I would be surprised if the wheelchair influenced this particular type of compliment. Take care and thank you for responding.

Woiw! He sounds wonderfully adorable. Better keep him. Seldom have I gotten compliments on my hair, so yours must be very nice. Isn't it amazing some of the topics that get buried between times online? Take care and thanks

At my first job, someone did something that caused trouble for the organization and the bosses decided to conduct an investigation as to whom started it. Supposedly, everyone was a "suspect". But when my name came up, my direct supervisor assured them that it could not be me because "that kid does not know how to inflict pain". And then years later, as an assistant teacher at a preschool, one of my students told me, "You're the best teacher, ever!" =)

A news anchor from a national tv channel once attended a wedding ceremony where I got to be one of the readers of the liturgy. During the wedding reception, I was asked to go around and have the guests sign the guestbook. When it was his turn to sign he smiled at me and asked if I was a graduate of Mass Communications because I had such good diction. I politely said no but I guess I was blushing.

Most people would comment favorably on my intellect. Which I find funny. Some comment on my art skills and cooking skills. But my worst critic is my mom and I never get compliments from her. But one day out of the blue, while we were in the company of clients, she suddenly remarked that she's so proud of me - and I don't know what circumstance made her to say that. And to this day, I don't even know what made her proud of me. But then everytime I think of that incident, I feel really good about myself. Even if I don't know why she's proud of me! Hahaha! So I consider it as the best compliment ever.

My Mother was like that, too. If she ever complimented me, I'd have fallen over from shock. Intellect, art and cooking. Goodness, you sound very talented! Take care

I receive the most compliments on the things I make. I like to be very precise, to do the best job possible, whether its fabric or clay or paper. And sometimes its a combination of all of them! I am also complimented on my patience... but I think that I just seem that way because everyone around me is SO 'type-A' personality!LOL!

Complements on things you made are wonderful There is often a lot of work involved and when someone appreciates it, it's wonderful. Yes, those type A personalities do make the rest of us look very patient don't they. Take care
