Well, it is all fake. You should delete it immediately. The same thing was seen on orkut, a friendship site. Peole received messages that if they didn't forward some mail, their accounts would be deleted. But it turned out to be spam. Don't worry and delete all such mails at once.

I created a new account (for my online business) this very morning. So this mail is not true. In such a case yahoo would put it on its website. If not sure just call Yahoo Inc at: 408 349 3300 (this is a US phone number). Also, I think Yahoo has a lot more than only 10 million accounts.

Hi kkittu. Don't trust this stupid message, this is only a mass that circulate on the Internet from 5-6 years ago. I think Yahoo will never close, Yahoo is an industry. Also Yahoo! will never delete your account without a good reason, if you are a spammer or something like that. Also they can't verifiy if you send or not that stupid mass mesage, lol... :)

Certainly you know that such an email is not from yahoo. As yahoo is such a large outfit that they would never say they have reached their quota..lol That is a trojan and if you sent that message out to your friends more then likely you infected each email you sent it to..

I don't think its true... I have received many of these emails from my yahoo account and till this day my account is still is still alive. I think Yahoo would not do that unless your account became inactive for sometime or you don't open your account anymore and the emails that come to your account remain unopened for a time. But for as long as you login to your account it will always remain active. Those emails would just make yahoo servers overloaded.

These kinds of messages are so fake. Just hearing Send to all your friends should raise a big flag... a company like Yahoo! doesn't need their members help to determine what accounts are still active! After so many months of inactivity, account are automatically closed. However the biggest clue that this message is spam is the SPELLING! Any *official* message from any company would have letters drafted from professionals, then edited and formatted and proofread some more. It would go through a tons of hands before it would be sent out and you wouldnt see stupid mistakes. And I too usually win the UK lottery. It's all mine! Every last cent! LOL
