New scam/spam email for me. This beats all.

Now, this is what I'm receiving in my email. Anybody else get one of these? Unbelievable, ain't it?
MY NAME IS NELLY MURPHY, I AND MY HUSBAND FRED MURPHY, ARE ON A
CHRISTIAN MISSION TO AFRICA AND I CAME ALONG WITH MY CAT.
AFTER A WHILE, I NOTICE THAT THE AFRICAN WEATHER IS NOT GOOD FOR THE CAT BECAUSE SHE NEEDS A QUIET HOME WHERE SHE IS THE MAIN PET. SHE IS USED TO HAVING ANOTHER CAT AROUND, BUT SHE IS PRETTY INDEPENDENT AND I THINK WOULD LIKE TO BE THE CENTER OF A ATTENTION IN HER NEW HOME AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER THE WAY I ALWAYS DO BECAUSE OF MY JOB. I NEED SOMEONE TO ADOPT HER AND TAKE CARE OF HER THE WAY I ALWAYS DO. SHE IS 10 WEEKS OLD.
EMAIL ME BACK TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE CAT.
I WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY

I don't open any emails I don't know so I have no clue if I received it or not. Forward it to www.snopes.com with a short message indicating possible scam and see what they have to say about it. I didn't find this in their archives so maybe this is a new one going around.

hmm looks like this scammer knew you love cats mah..he he..they cant make it by making some money stories..now..their trying to hook animal lovers..maybe someday i'll receive one saying she needs someone to adopt her dog..ha ha

No, I have never gotten that cat email; in my opinion, it's pretty funny. I wonder exactly what the scam is though--how are they planning on extracting money from this catscam?

LOL what will they come up with next ???? I guess if you contact them they will want to send you the price of the ticket for the little cat to go back and she will need your bank information to transfer the money heheheheh.
It's too much, really, but one has to give them credit for creativity LOL

Lol interesting scam tbh.
So youre going to have to pay for shipping, doctor bills and all that, and then never see the pet? :D
They get increasingly creative hehehe, but I still have a hard time seeing how anyone would fall for it....

I agree, I had to laugh when I saw it too. I thought to myself, now I bet they'll want to charge me a bundle of money to bring this kitty home. lol Some people come up with some really strange stuff.
