Hi everyone, I am a breeder of shar peis and am finding that a lot of people who buy a shar pei for the first time and do not do their reseach first are having a lot of problems. So I,m here to try and help with these problems. But keep in mind I don't know everything about shar peis but if I can help I will.

Houndsgood....I can fully understand where you are coming from, but I can assure you that Needtoiron is NOT a backyard breeder and they do supply plenty of after sales service. They make sure their puppies go to good homes and are well looked after in their new homes and they do maintain contact with the owners. Afterall, the reputation of their registered kennel would be at stake if they provided a crap breed and crap service. I know for a fact that their breeding dogs and b*tches are VERY well looked after because I am the daughter of these breeders and.....those bloody dogs are looked after better than we were as kids! LOL and NO, I don't own one of these dogs either. Too high maintenance for me. Your concerns are justified, but rest assured that needtoiron are not one of those so-called "backyard breeders" and their breeding dogs and prodigy are a high priority to them.

Hi, Thanks for the back up, even though you don't like the breed. By the way you know we that we will always love you more than the dogs

Hi hildar, Thanks for the backup. So what denotes a good BYB or bad but the same can be asked about kennel breeders. At leased with BYB the dogs are usually not locked up in a kennel all day.

It's so nice that you're offering your help to others here. I wish that I had known someone like you when I brought my Meg home when she was a baby. Don't get me wrong....I read so many books and articles on Shar Peis that my head hurt! But it's the things like dealing with the skin problems, or their persnickety attitudes at times that got me every once in a while. But I thought I did pretty well with what I had learned. I hope that people here take you up on your offer hon.

NP hon. I knew what you were trying to get across. You'll come across some people like the first guy on here every once in a while. I had a few hit me all in the same discussion a little while back. Your best bet with people like that is to just move on to your next responder. But I'm proud of the way you dealt with him. Good for you! By the way, I love the pictures of the Shar Peis on your profile page. Too cute!

Thanks for the backup. I really only said I was a breeder so as people would know that I have some idea as to what I am talking about.
