Being liked by the people for what you are. Or being liked by what you act you are.

I think is very important to be yourself and for people to like you and accept you as you are.

Do you think that people take the pain to understand and take you as you are?

People who are your real friends will accept you no matter what and those who don't are just pretending to love you. There are always exceptions because parents always want us to live a certain way and are dissapointed at times and we don't follow their ways ,but if they see us happy, they will accept us at the end because love is more powerful than anything.

LOL Balasri, why do come up always with such intriguing questions ;) Lately, in the last 7 years I am living the life of a heremit, and going out not that often, and have contact with only friends, no acquiantances if at all possible. My friends do appreciate the advice I am able to give them because I am able to stay inpartial to mostly everything and see the things as a whole, and not from one point of view only. I do not have to "play" anything, and know to be appreciated for what I am, even if very perfectionistic, and trying for the most part and most things to be as good as possible ;) TheFortunes

Hi bala, Ofcourse, I would want others to like me the way I am. I have lived by life in my own terms which never has put into question the definition of good and bad. My freinds and family know who exactly I am and what exactly I want in life and they have loved me for that. They have reasoned and argued when I have fought but they kneww, that's how I am - without pretense, without duplicity, transparent, opioniated with strong values. I do not act and I hate hypocrisy and fake shows. That, I hope would answer your query, Bala. Thanks.

For more than 10 years in the teaching profession from 1978 to 1989, I had been with several number of students with varying courses. Being with them for quite a long time, I had professionally dealt with them with the main objective of imparting the knowledge they needed. I was very proud of their achievements and I was happy of their status in life. Most of them now are licensed engineers, medical doctors and educators as well. On one hand, the oustanding performance of my grand daughter in her preparatory school made me proud of her. She excels in her class and she could easily grasp the things I am teaching her. I am exceedingly happy of her being a good and responsible girl.

You should feel happy within what you have? I mean the qualities and quantities both. It doesn't mean that you should stop trying to gain and achieve new qualities. But a person is knwown only for real qualities. The fictitious life is like a dream. It continues for few momnets only nad give joy. But as we are living in real world, So we should not pretend to be somewhat great. You should try to be "What you are?" Lets leave all the tensions and let others make the decision about you. In last, You should be "What You Are?"
