I have to choose my way of life in the next year.If I choose to live a acacemic life and get a job in university in the future,I'll have to get the PHD.It will take me 5 years more.As known to everyone, you can't earn much money if you are a professor. If I choose to earn money in a company,I only need to get a Marster degree. It will take me 3 years more.I think I love the life in school, quiet and interesting. But money is also very important in life.I'am a little hesitating.Did you have similar experience? How could you choose?

Nowadays it is not a problem what career path you would take as long as you have a degree or have finished school. I don't believe that money is only available in one type of profession or work. As long as you have determination, persistence, and industry, money will come your way. Determining your career depends on what you try to accomplish or what you would like to be in the future? But first, what is your passion? If your passion is in teaching or in setting a good example for the young generation by becoming an educator or a professor, I think that's excellent - go for it! Teachers never lose their luster as they age even if they are considered the least paid in the work industry. If you become an executive in a company, you may have more money but your influence is limited only to your employees or partners in business. If you are a teacher, especially if you are a good one, yours is not only the whole university or the community but the future of the students you help mold. Yours is the respect of everybody not because you have lots of money or are powerful because of some position, but because of what you do. I remember a saying that says what we do speaks of who we are. It doesn't say it's our possessions or what belong to, but "what we do" in life or as a living. I believe you have other talents and capabilities that God has given you aside from teaching. Find them and develop them to assist you in future times. You don't even need to go out of your house to find extra money. The internet is now a vast source of income for those willing to go further, take advantage of it. There are so many opportunities to explore in the real world as much as in the virtual world. Use your skills and intelligence. Don't limit yourself or your mind. You can accomplish many great things that will bring you not only prestige, but wealth - IF you want to. You decide. I don't say the other is not a good choice. Things are good so long as we make it work or are working hard for it.

for me, the one that i will choose will be that career path which if of high interest to me. it will be difficult to have one which is not the love of my life. i may be earning so well but, i will not find satisfaction in it. if being a professor is where your heart is, go ahead and proceed as you feel. if you are happy in what you are doing, you will harvest the rewards of your work in a manner which is beyond the measure of money. what is important is, that you will be able to earn enough amount to see you through in life and have a little more savings to see you through during old age. usually, we do not worry so much aboutt the old age thing because, most of those who get good jobs are insured of monthly pensions during their retirement.

In choosing your way of life, you have to see to it that your happy with the path you are taking. Decision-making is really crucial. You need a lot of factors to be considered. But I must agree with my father who once said that you will succeed in a career that you truly love and adore.
