I'm not talking about surveys you get paid for, but if someone sends you one in an email or through the mail, will you do them? Even if you know there's no money involved? Are you always truthful when you do surveys?

Sometimes I do them "just for fun." But I'm not *always* completely truthful. You never know who will be reading the answers!

Although they say it is 5 minutes, to think and then type the correct answer it would take 15 to 20 minutes and tell me why should I waste that much time on something which does not bring any money. I stopped doing surveys a year ago after I had a bitter experiences that hundreds of dollars are not paid by these unscrupulous survey sites. They make money and for internet users, these companies are just scams.

I used to do a lot of surveys through the mail. I don't get many any more. I am always truthful, unless there is not an answer for the truth. I used to get coupons for doing some surveys.

I still do the surveys on occasion, but I sometimes fib on the answers at the beginning. I answer those to fit the type of survey (such as listing myself as a woman for a survey about cosmetics or an older man for a survey about insurance.) I always answer "None of the above" to the question which asks if I work for one of the industries they list at the beginning.
