I was wondering if anyone practiced Witchcraft as a religion? If so how did they get started and how do you feel about it now?

yes I have practiced witchcraft as a religion for almost 35years now. I live this daily, though I had a 5year span where I let my relationship(partner) distract me for too long. I can greatly say that I am back practicing and look forward to our shamin coming at the end of Oct. As far as getting started I guess it has always been there, our family as far back as Ive researched has always been Wiccan

Witchcraft is not a religion....The religion behind this is called Wicca- a Goddess religion.. I am a witch and I practice witchcraft. Witchcraft is the use of certain kinds of supernatural or magical powers.Witchcraft dates back as early as the ancient Celts and Druids, and was originally a nature based religion wherein people gave reverence to the elements for the animals and vegetables they ate. You can learn more about the history of witchcraft by reading the simple overview at today it is still basically the same, except for the Hollywood stuff that has given it a bad name, along with ignorant people who insist that it has to do with the devil. Real witches know that there is no such thing, negative energy is what you make of it.
